What does Wink & Nod Eyewear specialize in?
Wink & Nod Eyewear specializes in luxury sunglasses and sun readers crafted in Italy. Our focus is on timeless design, premium materials, and thoughtful production rather than trend-driven styles. Each frame is designed to feel refined, wearable, and enduring.
Where are your frames made?
All Wink & Nod Eyewear frames are handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans. We work directly with boutique Italian manufacturers who follow a slow, detail-focused process to ensure consistency, balance, and quality in every pair.
What materials are used in your eyewear?
Our frames are made using Mazzucchelli acetate, a premium Italian-made acetate known for its durability, smooth finish, and rich color depth. This material allows for refined shaping and long-lasting wear while maintaining a polished appearance.
Are your sunglasses prescription?
Our sunglasses are non-prescription. At this time, we offer standard sunglasses and sun readers with built-in bifocal magnification. We do not currently provide custom prescription lens services.
What are sun readers, and how do they work?
Sun readers combine sunglasses with discreet bifocal magnification. They are designed to help you read menus, phones, or books outdoors without switching between sunglasses and reading glasses. The magnification is subtle and integrated into the lower portion of the lens.
How do I choose the right frame style?
Choosing the right frame comes down to comfort, proportion, and personal style. We recommend reviewing the product images and descriptions on each product page, considering how you plan to wear the frames, and selecting a shape that feels natural for everyday use.
How much do your sunglasses and sun readers cost?
Our pricing reflects Italian craftsmanship, premium materials, and small-batch production. Each product price is clearly listed on its product page so you can make an informed decision before purchasing.
Are your products produced in limited quantities?
Yes. Our collections are produced in limited runs to maintain quality and consistency. This approach allows us to focus on craftsmanship and thoughtful design rather than mass production.
